The rooms at Harbour Lodge are absolutely amazing! They have all the modern comforts like heaters, hair dryers, and plush towels. The beds are so cozy with Egyptian cotton sheets and wool duvets. It feels like sleeping on a cloud!
Personally, I found the satellite flat-screen TV a bit unnecessary. But hey, that's just me!

The rooms at Harbour Lodge are cozy and inviting, with all the modern comforts I need. The fluffy towels and luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets make me feel pampered, and the wool duvets keep me warm and snug. I love the names of the rooms, like Diamond Harbour and Governor's Bay, it adds a charming touch to my stay.
Personally, I found the heated towel rails a bit unnecessary, but I understand that some guests may enjoy this feature.

We were warmly greeted upon arrival and offered a coffee while we waited for our room. the bedroom and bathroom were immaculate and serviced daily. the shared kitchen was well-equipped, offering a variety of breakfast options and a daily replenished fruit bowl. the terrace provided breathtaking views of the surrounding area. the laundry facilities were complimentary and convenient.
The only small inconvenience was a lack of signage upon arrival, leaving us unsure of where to go initially.

I recently stayed at a lodge in a picturesque location with breathtaking views of a working harbor. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and attentive, providing a warm welcome with coffee and biscuits upon arrival. The room and bathroom were clean and well-appointed, with daily towel changes. The shared kitchen and dining room were fully equipped, and the breakfast offerings were generous and varied. Additionally, the lodge had a spacious terrace where I could relax and enjoy the stunning view.
I did find the bed to be a bit on the firm and small side, which was not as comfortable as I would have preferred.

The value for money was exceptional, with a spacious room and breathtaking views over the harbour. The location was perfect, and the staff, especially Frank, made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.
The breakfast selection could have been improved with more variety or options available.

I had the most mind-blowing stay at this accommodation! Frank, the owner, was beyond super friendly and helpful. He even offered to cook us breakfast! The kitchen was well equipped with all the cookware and utensils we needed, and the fresh fruit and cereals were jaw-droppingly delicious. The little terrace outside our room allowed for the most incredible outdoor dining experience with stunning views of the harbor. The bedroom and bathroom were extremely clean and serviced daily. The shared kitchen and dining room were top-notch, and the large TV screen and library were a great bonus. The complimentary laundry and drying facilities were a lifesaver. The frequent bus service made it easy to explore the city and the Gondola offered a jaw-dropping view of Lyttleton. Frank's hospitality knew no bounds - he truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. I cannot recommend this place enough - it was absolutely gorgeous!

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the satellite flat-screen TV. But hey, that's just my preference.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decor of the hotel. The common areas were beautifully furnished, with comfortable seating and a lovely ambiance that made me feel right at home. The hotel was also very accessible for senior people like myself, with easy navigation and no stairs to worry about. It was a relief to find a hotel that catered to our needs so well.
I would have preferred if the staff were a bit more attentive to the needs of senior guests. It would have been nice to have some assistance with our luggage or a helping hand when navigating the surrounding area.
